Take them off the table and the seat frees up. Nothing else moves.

Can we set the number of seats per table?

Yes, table by table, so a long top table and round tables of ten can sit in the same plan.

Can we split a family across tables?

Yes. Parties move together by default, but you can seat any guest wherever you need to.

Despite being the daughter of a wedding photographer, I didn't want to spend too much of my day away from our guests doing pictures. I would much rather be in the thick of the party! Our photographer did the basic family, friend, cake, flowers shots for us then we went and joined everyone. So it was great to have SoInvited available for people to upload photos to either on the day or afterwards. We got so many great candid shots from it, in fact some of my favourite shots of the day are from our guests. Setting up an account is very simple and uploading pics is so easy to do. If people don't manage to do it on the day they can do it afterwards. I can't recommend this service enough, a definite addition for any bride and groom!
